On the afternoon of July 9, as an important event of the 2nd Suzhou Scientist Day, the inaugural meeting of the Scientist-Entrepreneur Suzhou Collaborative Innovation Alliance was held.
The first group of scientists and entrepreneurs Suzhou Collaborative Innovation Alliance has 88 members, including 31 scientists, mainly authoritative experts and scholars from well-known universities, scientific research institutions and national societies; 47 entrepreneurs, mainly from Suzhou digital economy, biomedicine, Heads of medium-sized enterprises with an annual output value of 500-1000 million in key fields such as new materials, heads of a few leading enterprises and small-scale scientific and technological growth enterprises, and heads of representative financial investment institutions.
The alliance has hired 15 scientists and entrepreneurs, including Zheng Youjie, Chen Junshi, Cui Genliang, Gao Yudi, Shen Xiaoping, and Chen Linsen, as alliance consultants. The meeting elected Lu Jianmei as the chairman, eight scientists and entrepreneurs including Yi Yi, Zhang Jinlong, Shi Yufang, Song Lixin, Zhu Tianzhong, Ren Guoqiang, and Peng Biao as the vice chairman, and Sun Lining as the secretary general.
Zhu Min, deputy secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, delivered a speech and pointed out that the establishment of the Scientist-Entrepreneur Suzhou Collaborative Innovation Alliance has built a platform for scientists and entrepreneurs to cooperate and comminicate, and broadened the channels of collaborative innovation.
Li Qianmu, Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, said in his speech that the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology will fully support the construction of the alliance, continue to input national and provincial expert resources for the alliance, serve the front line of the industry closely, and promote the integration of science and technology in Suzhou.
Cheng Bo, secretary of the party group of Suzhou Association for Science and Technology, introduced that the alliance was led by the Suzhou Talent Office, and jointly initiated by the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Municipal Financial Supervision Bureau, the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce. Later, by building a communication platform and conducting special lectures, training seminars and other activities from time to time, it will provide technical information consultation for the development trends, cutting-edge technologies and development directions of the four leading industries in Suzhou and other key development areas, and help enterprises to innovate and develop. Scientists and entrepreneurs communicate regularly. Establish a docking mechanism between scientists' scientific research directions and major needs of enterprises, integrate into the "Science and Innovation China" platform, give full play to the high-end talent resources of the science and technology and economic integration workstation established by the National Society in Jiangsu, and organize scientists and entrepreneurs to carry out regular docking and consulting activities around major industrial development issues and corporate technological bottlenecks to form a collaborative innovation mechanism. Establish an expert advice mechanism, and carry out expert advice on industrial policies, talent policies, etc., to help the party committee and government make scientific decisions. After the establishment of the conference, the first high-end salon of the Suzhou Collaborative Innovation Alliance of Scientists and Entrepreneurs was held.
